ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The allegation that respondent No.7/tenant under the Arulmighu Kabaleeswarar Temple has raised illegal construction is a matter which requires inquiry by the local authority ie. the Greater Chennai Corporation.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the Greater Chennai Corporation submits that the Corporation has already taken action against respondent No.7 and notices have also been issued.

3. In view of the above submission, we are not inclined to keep this petition pending but to direct the Greater Chennai Corporation to conclude the proceedings one way or the other, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving opportunity of hearing to respondent No.7.
