Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to survey, sub divide, demarcate and fix the boundaries of the petitioner's agricultural land measuring Acre 2.38 cents comprised in S.F.Nos.9/2, 11, 12, 13,59,60,60/2,376/1 and 378 situated at Kolumam village, Madathukulam Taluk, Tiruppur District, based on the petitioner's online application dated 6.5.2025 (Application No.2025/0105/32/415423) within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to survey, sub divide, demarcate and fix the boundaries of the petitioner's agricultural land measuring Acre 2.38 cents comprised in S.F.Nos.9/2, 11, 12, 13,59,60,60/2,376/1 and 378 situated at Kolumam village, Madathukulam Taluk, Tiruppur District, based on the petitioner's online application dated 6.5.2025 (Application No.2025/0105/32/415423) within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner has lands measuring Acre 2.38 cents comprised in S.F.Nos.9/2, 11, 12, 13,59,60,60/2,376/1 and 378 situated at Kolumam village, Madathukulam Taluk, Tiruppur District. In order to survey the said land, the petitioner submitted applications before first respondent. However, so far the lands could not be surveyed. Hence, this writ petition. 2/4

In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to survey the petitioner's aforesaid lands based on the title deed produced by the petitioner, after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if there are, and to serve the survey report to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that, if the surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject land, the said surveyor can approach the jurisdictional police seeking police aid and on such request, the jurisdictional police shall provide adequate police protection to the surveyor.
4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
