The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 126, 296(b), 109, 351(3) of BNS, 2023 in Crime No.143 of 2025 on the file of the respondent Police, 1/4
seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that due to wordy quarrel, petitioner along with other accused abused and assaulted the defacto complainant with knife. Hence the case.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that, apart from this case, petitioner has six previous cases.
5. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the submission and also the bad antecedents against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
