ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 296(b), 115(2), 118(1), 109(1) & 351(3) of BNS Act r/w Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, in Crime No. 107 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

Earlier, this Court dismissed the anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.OP.No.23285 of 2025 by order dated 25.08.2025 on the following reasons: "The anticipatory bail petition on consideration, is partly allowed granting anticipatory bail to the third petitioner, namely Vilvarani. Insofar as petitioners 1 and 2, namely Ganthi and Suriya are concerned, they have used knife to attack the victim and, therefore, the anticipatory bail petition in respect of petitioners 1 and 2 stands dismissed".

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that 2/5

there is change in circumstances that some of the co-accused have been released on bail. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is not inclined to accept the request made on behalf of the petitioner, since there is a specific allegation that the petitioner had used a weapon and caused severe injuries to the defacto complainant. Hence, no change in circumstances has been established before this Court to revisit the earlier order, therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
