ORDER

The writ petition is filed for a direction directing the respondent to settle the part terminal benefit of earned leave surrender as well as arrears of salary of notional period of 7 days with interest.

2. The petitioner was appointment as Driver in the respondent Corporation. Thereafter, he was promoted to the post of Selection Grade Senior Driver and retired from service on 31.07.2017. The part terminal benefit of earned leave surrender amount as well as salary amount for notional period of 7 days were not settled to the petitioner till today. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 30.06.2025 and it is pending with the respondent for consideration.

In view of the above, the respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 30.06.2025 submitted by the petitioner and disburse the applicable part terminal benefit of earned leave surrender as well as salary for notional period of 7 days with interest at the rate of 6 % per annum, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
