ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the VI Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai to expedite the proceedings in M.C.No.541 of 2019 and dispose of the same in accordance with law within the time fixed by this Court.
2. The case of the petitioner is that she had filed a maintenance case in M.C.No.541 of 2019 as against the respondent. It is the contention of the petitioner that the respondent is not attending the Court regularly and dragging the proceedings only in order to take revenge against the petitioner. The grievance of the petitioner is that though she had filed the case in the year 2019, there is no progress in the case. Hence, filed the present petition seeking aforesaid relief.
3. Considering the limited relief sought in the petition, without going into the merits of the case and taking note of the fact that the case is pending from the year 2019, the learned VI Additional Principal Judge, Family Court,
Chennai is directed to dispose of the case in M.C.No.541 of 2019 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
