Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the Appeal filed by the petitioner dated 12.12.2023 in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. For Petitioners : Mr.T.Ravichandran For Respondents : Mr.P.Harish Government Advocate Order With consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a mandamus to the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's Appeal dated 12.12.2023 within a time frame.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that aggrieved by the order passed by the fourth respondent, the petitioner filed an Appeal before the first respondent on 12.12.2023 and since the said Appeal evoked no response, the petitioner has approached this Court, by way of filing this Writ Petition, seeking for the aforementioned relief. 3.1 It is submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to dispose of the Appeal pending before him within a stipulated time.
4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has submitted that the Appeal filed by the petitioner would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the aforesaid submissions and the limited scope of the prayer, sought for by the petitioner, in this Writ Petition, this Court, 3/6
without expressing any view with regard to the merits of the contentions putforth by the petitioner either in the Writ Petition or in the Appeal, is of the view that, suffice it would be to direct the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's Appeal in a time bound manner.
6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the Appeal made by the petitioner dated 12.12.2023 and dispose of the same as early as possible, preferably, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is ordered. 11.11.2025 sd Index : yes/no 4/6
