ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking for modification of the computer patta No.118 for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition in favour of the fourth respondent and thereafter, issue a fresh patta in favour of the petitioners within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr. S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and would submit that based on the petitioners' representation, seeking for modification of computer patta No.118, the third respondent is considering the said representation on merits and in accordance with law and the petitioners' representation will be disposed of within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the objections of the fourth respondent as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire.

3. Since no adverse orders are passed against the fourth respondent, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with by this Court.

4. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' representation dated 28.08.2025, seeking for modification of the computer patta No.118 for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing the objections of the fourth respondent as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, WMP No. 64 of 2026 is closed and WMP No. 63 of 2026 is ordered subject to payment of separate Court fee.
