ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to rectify the mistake that has crept in the patta issued in Patta No.491, by considering the representation made by the petitioner on 26.07.2025.

2. Heard Mr.A.Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the first and second respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner is that, he is the absolute owner of the subject property by virtue of sale deed dated 06.04.2009, registered as Doc.No.1146/2009. According to the petitioner, the total extent of property is 3904 sq.ft. However, in the patta that was issued in favour of the petitioner by the second respondent, the extent was mentioned as 3229.17 sq.ft., instead of 3904 sq.ft.,

4. In view of the above, the petitioner submitted a detailed representation 2/4

on 26.07.2025, enclosing all the documents to the first respondent. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 26.07.2025 and necessary orders shall be passed, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
