ORDER
The relief sought in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 18.04.2022, seeking redetermination and enhancement of compensation in respect of the petitioner's land comprised in S.No.115/3A, Irungattukottai Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, acquired under Award No.15/97 dated 28.08.1998.

2. Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of respondents 1 & 2. Mr.Abishek Murthy, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the third respondent. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the property comprised in S.No.115/3A, Irungattukottai Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, which was acquired by the respondents under Award No.15/97 dated 28.08.1998. Not satisfied with the meagre compensation granted, the petitioner filed objections and seeking enhancement of compensation by filing W.P.No.12927 of 2000. This Court by its order dated 01.08.2000 directed the Land Acquisition Officer to make a reference to the Civil Court. Pursuant thereto, the Subordinate Judge, Kanchipuram, by order dated 09.10.2018 held that the petitioner is entitled to compensation of Rs.11,630/- together with accrued interest. However, the said compensation was not disbursed to 3/6
the petitioner. Hence, he made several representations dated 27.10.2020, 30.11.2020, 18.02.2021 and 18.04.2022, respectively. However, till date, the said representations were not considered by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
4. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 seeks four weeks time to consider the petitioner's representations.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.04.2022 and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4/6
With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
