ORDER

This Criminal Revision Case has been filed to set aside the order dated 30.04.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.2035/2025 by the Principal Special Court under EC and NDPS Act, Chennai (Principal Special Jude) and direct the respondent to return the Petitioners Car Sedan model Hyundai Getz bearing registration number KA-01, MF-4685 seized in Crime No.219/2024.

2. Heard the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

The learned counsel submits that the petitioner has filed the petition before the Principal Special Court under Ec and NDPS Act, Chennai (Principal Special Jude) to return of Sedan Model Hyundai Getz Car Bearing Registration No. KA-01, MF-4685 seized in Crime No.219/2024, but the same was dismissed by the Court below. Challenging the impugned order passed by the learned Trial Judge, the petitioner has preferred this revision.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is the owner of the vehicle and not an accused in the case. But without considering the above, the Trial Court dismissed the petition.

5. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) vehemently opposed to return of articles stating the investigation is pending.

6. Considering the fact that since the case is involved under the NDPS Act, this Criminal Revision Case is disposed of with a direction directing the petitioner to approach the Drug Disposal Committee for his remedy and if any such petition is filed, the Drug Disposal Committee is directed to consider the same and dispose the same within a period of two weeks as per manner known to law.
