This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 985 days in filing the above civil miscellaneous appeal against the judgment and decree dated 27.10.2022 made in M.C.O.P.No.298 of 2016 by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Vellore.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.R.Sree Vidhya, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent.

3. The reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition being satisfactory, this petition stands ordered and consequently, the delay of 985 days in filing the above appeal is condoned, subject to the condition that the petitioner will not be entitled to any interest for the delay period i.e., for 985 days, in the appeal.

4. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the case for admission in due course.
