ORDER
(made by N.Sathish Kumar, J.) The present writ petition (criminal) has been filed directing the respondents to transfer the petitioner's son viz. Raja @ Pothu Raja, S/o.Raman, aged about 27 years, Convict Prisoner, Convict PID No.70587, from the Central Prison, Coimbatore, to the Central Prison, Salem. 2.
It is the case of the petitioner that his son is in confinement for
more than six years; due to his ill health he is unable to travel from Salem to Coimbatore to visit his son, who is detained in the Central Prison, Coimbatore and further, he is unable to bear the travel expenses; therefore, he has given representation dated 19.09.2025 to the respondents to transfer his son from the Central Prison, Coimbatore, to the Central Prison, Salem; since his representation has not been considered so far, he has preferred the present petition.

In such view of the matter, this Court is inclined to direct the respondents to consider the representation given by the petitioner and pass orders on merits within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this writ petition (criminal) stands disposed of.
