ORDER

The petitioner seeks transfer the investigation from the fourth respondent to the sixth respondent on the ground that investigation has not been properly conducted.

2. The case of the prosecution is that his daughter died by hanging in her matrimonial home. According to the petitioner, the petitioner has not been examined during the inquest conducted by the Revenue Divisional Officer. The crux of the allegation in the petition is that the investigation has not been properly conducted. The First Information Report has been registered only on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner and thereafter, investigation has been proceeded. It is his contention that the inquest conducted by Revenue Divisional Officer does not indicate that the dowry harassment lead to suicide. The main grievance of the petitioner is that the original complaint given by the petitioner has been suppressed. Therefore, investigation has to be properly conducted. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking aforesaid relief.

Since the petitioner was not satisfied with the investigation and on a perusal of the CD file, this Court is of the view it is a clear case of suicide and the report of the Revenue Divisional Officer indicate that there is no dowry harassment, investigation shall be continued and the same shall be monitored by

the Superintendent of police, of Coimbatore and after completion of investigation, the final report shall be filed.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
