ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 21.08.2025, for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 309(4) r/w 311 of BNS @ 310(2) r/w 311 of BNS in Crime No.712 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The allegation of the petitioner is that this petitioner joining hands with other accused and Rs.5 lakhs demanded money from the defacto complainant and threatened him with dire consequences. Hence this case. 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

3. The learned counsel appearing for petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution, and he has been falsely implicated in this case and already this Court has considered the bail application of the co-accused in Crl.O.P.No.27477 of 2025 and the property involved in this case is also recovered. Hence, he prays for grant of bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for respondent would submit that this petitioner has arrayed as A1, the property recovered, investigation is not completed and 10 previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the fact that petitioner is the main accused in this case and he is also having 10 previous cases including the cases of murder, and this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
