...Respondents
Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondents for willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 22.11.2023 in W.P.No.6334 of 2022. For Petitioner : Mr.P.M.N.Bhagavathi Krishnan For Respondents : Mrs.P.Rajarajeswari, Government Advocate 1/4
ORDER
The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that as against the order passed in the Writ Petition, a Writ Appeal has been preferred in W.A.No.3337 of 2024 and the same is pending for more than one year.
2.In view of the aforesaid submission, I am of the view that since the Hon'ble Division Bench has taken cognizance of the matter, it would not be appropriate to parallely adjudicate this Contempt Petition. However, if liberty is granted to the petitioner to workout his remedies, subject to the final disposal of the Writ Appeal, the ends of justice could be secured. 3.Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedies, subject to the final outcome of W.A.No.3337 of 2024.
