ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for noncompliance of the order dated 14.12.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.No.25113 of 2021, wherein the second respondent was directed to conduct enquiry after giving opportunity of hearing of all the parties in the light of the Judgement of the Supreme Court of India, in the case of Union of India & Anr., v. Tarsem Singh and Ors., in Civil Appeal No.7064 of 2019 reported in (2019) 9 SCC 304, on merits and in accordance with law within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

The learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the order of this Court has been duly disposed of by the second respondent. To that effect, he also produced a copy of proceedings of the Competent Authority and Special District Revenue Officer (LA), NH179A and 68 Office (FAC), Salem, in Roc.No.242/2009 (NH.68)(A6) dated 28.02.2023. The said proceedings dated 28.02.2023 is taken on record. 3.

In view of the above, no contempt is made out against the respondents.

Recording the above submissions and the production of proceedings dated 28.02.2023, the Contempt Petition stands closed. 12.11.2025 klt
