India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to survey the petitioner's property in survey number 452A/1A measuring an extent of 0.10.93 Ares in Patta No.2973 respectively situated at Peddhanapalli Village, Krishnagiri Taluk and District and fix its boundaries as per the Settlement Deed No.557/2025 by obtaining adequate police protection from the fourth respondent within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 20.08.2025 wherein the petitioner has sought for survey of the subject property and for fixing the boundaries.

2. Heard Mr.A.Arun Kumar, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr.S.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] appearing for fourth respondent.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the patta in the subject property stood in the name of the petitioner's husband. The said property 2/4

was settled in favour of the petitioner through a settlement deed dated 06.02.2025 registered as document No.557 of 2025. The petitioner submitted an application on 20.08.2025 after paying necessary charges for survey of the property and for demarcation of boundaries. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be direction to respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 20.08.2025 and conduct survey in the subject property based on the title document and the patta that stands in the name of the petitioner's husband. If there are any other interested parties, such survey shall be conducted in their presence. If required, it is left open to take police aid from the fourth respondent. The said process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
