ORDER

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners herein have filed a writ petition in W.P.No.33057 of 2025 for Mandamus to consider the appeal dated 29.05.2025 and to issue a legal heir certificate, which was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 01.09.2025, by directing the third respondent to dispose of the said appeal within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. However, in the aforesaid writ petition, the petitioners have inadvertently typed the district of the respondents 1 to 3 as Krishnagiri District instead of Dharmapuri District and the 4th respondent as Hosur instead of Palacode and in order to amend the same, the petitioners have filed the present amendment petition. Accordingly, he prayed for appropriate orders of this court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. On perusal of the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this Court is satisfied that the District of the respondents has wrongly mentioned as 'Krishnagiri' instead of 'Dharmapuri' and Page No.3 of 6

'Hosur' instead of 'Palacode' respectively, and the same has to be necessarily modified.

4. In view of the above, this writ miscellaneous petition is ordered as prayed for. The Registry is directed to carry out the necessary corrections in the cause title and issue fresh order copy to the parties.

5. On receipt of a modified order copy, the petitioners are directed to make a fresh representation to the third respondent to consider the appeal dated 29.05.2025, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
