Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to assign suitable light duty to the petitioner and to pay salary for the periods from 16.03.2024 to 15.03.2025 and from 16.08.2025 till date, together with interest at 24% per annum, to restore the medical leave and earned leave 1/4
to the petitioner.

O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to assign suitable light duty to the petitioner and to pay salary for the periods from 16.03.2024 to 15.03.2025 and from 16.08.2025 till date, together with interest at 24% per annum, to restore the medical leave and earned leave to the petitioner. 2.
Without expressing any opinion on merits of the representation submitted by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to subject the petitioner for medical examination to ascertain his disability and in accordance with the medical report, the respondents are directed to pass orders to assign a suitable duty to the petitioner. In the meantime, if there are arrears of salary to the petitioner, the respondents are directed to pay the said arrears of salary within a period of four weeks from the 2/4
date of receipt of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
