ORDER
The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.09.2025.
2. Mr.B.Vijay, learned standing counsel takes notice on behalf of the first respondent. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of respondents 2 & 3. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has been in 2/6
continuous possession and cultivation of about 4.00 acres of agricultural land in S.No.42/2 (formerly part of old S.No.42) at Mandalavadi Village, Tirupattur Taluk, Tirupattur District, under lease arrangement from Kalaimagal Sabha. The petitioner was regularly paying his lease payments, which was also accepted by the respondents. Under these circumstances, the first respondent issued a public auction notice dated 18.05.2025, proposing to auction the leasehold rights in respect of the very same lands through an online e-tender process. Therefore, the petitioner sent an individual representation dated 29.09.2025 to the respondents 1 & 2, seeking regularisation or protection of his leasehold rights. But, till date, the said representation was not considered by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
4. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submit that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.09.2025. 3/6
5. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 & 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 29.09.2025 would be considered and orders passed within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.09.2025, after giving due notice and opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved persons, if any, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4/6
With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
