O R D E R

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.09.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 296(b), 309(4), 311, 125(b), 324(2) and 351(3) of BNS, in Crime No.350 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner robbed a sum of Rs.2,000/- at knife point from the de facto complainant. Hence, the case.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case only because of his involvement in some previous cases. He further submitted that the petitioner has been in custody since 20.09.2025 and therefore prayed for grant of bail.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed the grant of bail, reiterating the prosecution case, and submitted that the petitioner has eight previous criminal cases of a similar nature. He further submitted that the investigation is still pending. 2/4

5. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the gravity of the offences and bad antecedents, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
