ORDER
The petitioner herein, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.04.2023 in S.C.No.272 of 2023 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Bomb Blast Court at Coimbatore, Coimbatore District, for the offences punishable under Section 302 of IPC, seeks bail. The earlier bail application of the petitioner was dismissed by this Court, vide order dated 05.08.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.21839 of 2025 on the following reasons: "Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side and the gravity of the offence and only four more witnesses have to be examined, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner." 2.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the earlier bail application of the petitioner was dismissed on the ground that there is likelihood of completion of the trial proceedings, however the trial is not progressing and the petitioner is in judicial custody since 20.04.2023; and that the petitioner is ready to abide by any condition that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner. 3.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for 2/4
the respondent while opposing the bail to the petitioner submitted that there are totally 29 witnesses and already 19 witnesses were examined and the case is now at advanced stage of trial and if the petitioner is released on bail, there is a high possibility that he may abscond and evade the process of law.

This Court, vide order dated 17.10.2025 directed the concerned Trial Court to submit a report regarding the stage of the case and accordingly, the report was submitted. On perusal of the report, it reveals that on 01.11.2025, the Superintendent of Police of concerned District is directed to produce P.W.6 and also for examination of other witnesses. 5.
Considering the submissions made on both sides, nature of offence, taking note of the fact that already 19 witnesses out of 29 witnesses were examined and if the petitioner is enlarged on bail at this stage, there is possibility of hampering of trial process, hence this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 3/4
