ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2025, for prosecuting the 3rd respondent.

2. The petitioner is a registered Trade Union. The petitioner/Union is espousing the cause of 37 workers belonging to its Union, who were illegal terminated in the guise of VRS and against the binding 12[3] settlement. The petitioner states that the second respondent under Section 29 of I.D. Act, was obligated to submit a report to the 1st respondent on the violation of 12(3) settlement dated 04.02.2022. The petitioner further states that a representation was given to the respondents 1 and 2 on 13.03.2025, in this regard, however no action was taken. The petitioner hence filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

Mr.A.N.Purushotham, learned Special Government Pleader took notice for the respondents 1 and 2, and submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 13.02.2025 was pending with the second respondent and therefore, if appropriate orders are passed, the 2nd respondent would comply with the same.

4. In view of the above submissions of the learned Special Government Pleader, for the respondents 1 and 2, a direction is issued to the second respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.03.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
