ORDER

This civil revision petition is filed seeking direction to the learned VI Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the case in GWOP No.886 of 2021, within a time frame, fixed by this court.

2. The respondent herein filed a petition seeking custody of minor Disha in G.W.O.P.No.886 of 2021. A perusal of the typed set of papers would indicate that the said OP was filed in the year 2021 and the same is posted for enquiry, after completion of pleadings of the parties, as early as on 12.08.2021. However, there is no progress in the enquiry for the past 4 years.

3. Taking into consideration the year of filing of GWOP and the present stage of enquiry, this court is inclined to direct the learned VI Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the case in GWOP No.886 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
