This writ petition has been filed for direction to the 1st and 2nd Respondents to cancel / declare as void the settlement Deed Document No 798/2024 dated 20.06.2024 registered at the Triplicane Sub Registrar office, in accordance with the provisions of the Maintenance and welfare of Parents and senior Citizens Act 2007, considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2025 within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to conduct a detailed enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2025 and, after issuance of notice to the petitioner & the fifth respondent and giving them opportunity of personal hearing, to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
