O R D E R

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 27.09.2025 by the respondent police in connection with Crime No.992 of 2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 275, 123 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 7(1), 20(2) of Cigarette and Other Tobacco Act, 2003, seek bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were found in possession of 537.8 kgs of banned tobacco products. Hence, the present case.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the case and hence he prayed for the grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the investigation is pending. He further submitted that, the petitioner has no previous case.

5. Considering the huge quantity of the contraband recovered from the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
