O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to cancel the patta for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition now standing in the name of the 4th respondent, based on the petitioners' representations dated 31.07.2025 and 04.08.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioners claim that illegally the 4th respondent had obtained patta for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition. The petitioners seek for cancellation of the same through their representations dated 31.07.2025 and 04.08.2025. Since no final orders are passed in those representations till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

3.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse orders are passed as against the 4th respondent, notice to the 4th respondent is dispensed with by this Court.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioners' representations as stated supra are considered on merits and in accordance with law after hearing the objections of the 4th respondent as well as any other third party whom the 3rd respondent deem fit, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' representations.

5.For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' representations dated 31.07.2025 and 04.08.2025, seeking for the cancellation of patta standing in the name of the 4th respondent for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition, after hearing the objections of the 4th respondent and any other third party, whom the 3rd respondent deem fit, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
