O R D E R

W.M.P.No.15219 of 2026 filed seeking permission to the petitioners to join together and file a single writ petition is ordered as prayed for. 2.The grievance of the petitioners in this Writ Petition is that the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition has been wrongly classified as 'Sarkar Poramboke', instead of 'Ryotwari'. 3.As seen from the documents filed along with this Writ Petition, the respondents have already rejected the petitioners' request for change of classification through the proceedings of 1st respondent dated 12.12.2023. In view of the same, the petitioners will have to challenge the proceedings of the

1st respondent dated 12.12.2023 in the manner known to the petitioners under law. Without challenging the aforesaid order, the petitioners have filed this Writ of Mandamus to change the classification, which is not maintainable. 4.When this Court had pointed out the same, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty for the petitioners to challenge the proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 12.12.2023, rejecting the petitioners' request for change of classification in the manner known to the petitioners under law. 5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to challenge the proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 12.12.2023, rejecting the petitioners' request for change of classification of the land from "Sarkar Poramboke" to "Ryotwari" in the manner known to the petitioners under law. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 16-04-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order GSA
