ORDER

Mr.A.M. Ayyadurai, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the 1st respondent.

By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he, being a Cable TV operator, had approached the 1st respondent seeking transfer of name for operating the Cable TV network in his favour, from the name of his Ex-Partner, S. S. Vasanthi. However, the said transfer has not been effected in his favour till date. Under such circumstances, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 29.08.2025. As the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking the aforesaid relief.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the petitioner's representation may be considered and appropriate orders may be passed by the respondents effecting the transfer in favour of the petitioner, within a time frame.

4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent fairly submitted that the 1st respondent will consider the petitioner's representation 2/4

and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

5. In view of the limited request made by the petitioner and considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent, this Court directs the 1st respondent, to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
