The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 25.08.2025, for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 64, 318(2) of BNS in Crime No.37 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the victim girl was aged about 18 years. The petitioner had developed contact with the victim girl and on promise to marry her, he also had sexual relationship with her and subsequently he harassed her. Hence, the case.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner was arrested and he is in judicial custody from 25.08.2025 and is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the victim is aged about 18 years, this petitioner is aged about 31 years and the statement reveals that when the victim was minor, this petitioner had developed some relationship and started sexual intercourse and subsequently refuse to marry her. He further submitted that the medical examination is also completed and he produced the statement of the victim girl and he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.
5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record 2/4
including the First Information Report.
6. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel on either side, this Court also gone through the statement of the victim girl since the investigation not completed and this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
