ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to process the petitioner's application dated 24.04.2024.
2. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.
3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner's land was acquired for Outer Ring Road Scheme vide Notification dated 21.03.2006. Thereafter, the award dated 30.01.2009 was passed by the 3rd respondent, by fixing compensation at a sum of Rs.1,000/- per cent for the acquired lands. Thereafter, vide order dated 29.01.2024, the LAOP Court had enhanced the compensation for similarly placed land owners from the rate of Rs.1000/- per cent to Rs.50,000/- per cent. Subsequently, the petitioner had filed an application dated 24.04.2024 under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act 1894, seeking for redetermination of compensation in respect of petitioner's acquired lands in accordance with the aforesaid order dated 29.01.2024. However, the said representation was not considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this writ petition.
5. In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the application filed by the petitioner will be considered by the respondents within a period of 6 weeks. Hence, he requested this Court to pass appropriate orders. 3/6
6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

In the case on hand, the petitioner had filed an application dated 24.04.2024 under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act 1894, before the 1st respondent seeking for redetermination of compensation in respect of petitioner's acquired lands in accordance with the order dated 29.01.2024. However, the said representation was not considered by the 1st respondent till date.
8. In view of the above, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 24.04.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

9. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
