This case came up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. No representation on behalf of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the respondents Mr. V. Radhakrishnan and TNEB official Mr. Naveen Kumar are present.

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The Writ Petition is filed in the year 2004, against the order of transfer. The grievance of the petitioner is also that he is not given promotion, but, he was transferred. The learned counsel for the Electricity Board produces the Memo dated 29.3.2008, wherein the petitioner Mr. Pandian has been promoted. It is further represented that further promotion was also granted to Mr. M. Pandian. Therefore nothing survives in this petition. Recording the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent and also the officer Mr. Naveen Kumar, Assistant Executive Engineer of Electricity Board, the Writ Petition is closed.
