ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to settle the petitioner's retirement benefits such as Gratuity, Leave surrender, DA arrears and pension arrears.
2. The petitioner joined the service of the second respondent Corporation as Junior Assistant on 03.04.1992 and retired from service on 31.10.2022. After his retirement, he was not settled with any terminal benefits such as Gratuity, Leave surrender (EL and ML) DA arrears and pension arrears to the tune of Rs.14,84,000/-. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation for disbursal of the terminal benefits. However, it was not considered so far.
3. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to disburse the terminal benefits such as Gratuity, Leave surrender (EL and ML) DA arrears and pension arrears at the rate of 6% per annum, commencing from the date of the retirement, till the date of actual disbursement, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
