Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to settle the petitioners retirement benefits including Gratuity arrears, commutation, leave Surrender (EL and ML), IRT amount and DA arrears and pension arrears with interest payable from the date of retirement based on the petitioners representation dated 01.07.2025.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to settle the petitioner's retirement benefits including Gratuity arrears, commutation, leave Surrender (EL and ML), IRT amount and DA arrears and pension arrears with interest payable form the date of retirement payable based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2025.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner joined the 2nd respondent corporation as a Conductor on 17.12.1988 and retired from service on 31.03.2023 as a Senior Grade Checking Inspector. However, the petitioner has not been paid his terminal benefits so far. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 01.07.2025 requesting the settlement of his terminal benefits. However, the said representation has not been considered till date.

In view of the above, the respondents are directed to settle the petitioner's retirement benefits, including Gratuity arrears, commutation, leave Surrender (EL and ML), IRT amount and DA arrears and pension arrears with interest at the rate of 6% per annum commencing from the date of retirement till the date of actual disbursement, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
