The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 316(2), 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338 of BNS read with Section 66D of Information Technology in Crime No.45 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner joining hands with other accused under the pretext of online trading business had collected a sum of Rs.2,49,0427/- and thereby cheated the defacto complainant. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, petitioner having two bank accounts and his bank account has been misused by other accused and not aware of the transaction. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that, investigation is pending and the amount 2/4

is yet to be recovered. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the magnitude of the amount involved in this case and the investigation is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
