Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records on the file of the third respondent pertaining to clause 15(ii) of the M.B.B.S./B.D.S. Admissions prospectus 20042005 and quash the same insofar as it restricts the reservation seats in M.B.B.S. and B.D.S. Courses to children of exservicemen only to the exclusion of children of Serving defence personnel and consequently direct the respondents to reserve two seats in M.B.B.S. and B.D.S. Courses for children of serving defence personnel in Government Medical College. Learned counsel for the petitioner reports no instruction. However, considering the fact that the relief sought for in this writ petition, which is against a particular clause in the Prospectus issued for the academic year 2004-2005 for admission to M.B.B.S/B.D.S. Course and further considering the fact that no interim order protecting the interest of the petitioner is operating as on today, I do not find anything survives in this writ petition to be adjudicated upon further. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
