Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing to all the respondents to conduct the enquiry with regard to the allotment of the house plots to the real beneficiaries under Na.Ka.1750/96 (D13) dated 31.05.1996 by the third respondent in pursuant to petitioner representation dated 1/4

Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct enquiry with regard to the allotment of the house plots to the real beneficiaries under Na.Ka.1750/96 (D13) dated 31.05.1996 by the third respondent in pursuant to petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2025 and consequently fix the time frame to dispose of the representation dated 18.07.2025.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondents 1 and 2 allotted house plots under Adidravidar Welfare and Development Scheme to poor people including the petitioner, in which some of the well settled people and non scheduled 2/4

caste people were also allotted house plots and hence the petitioner made representation to the respondents to enquire into the matter, however, there is no response. The learned counsel further submitted that this Court may, without going into the merits of the case, issue direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2025 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame.

4.Considering the limited request now made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders after providing opportunity to all the aggrieved persons, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of.
