The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on completion of investigation, the respondent police have closed the case as "mistake of facts" and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in the matter and hence, he seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the endorsement so made, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
