ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to appoint any Special Team of CB CID or any other investigation agency to investigate the FIR No.217/2017 on the file of the 4th respondent consequently to direct them to file final report.
2. The learned Government Counsel appearing for R1, R3, and R4, based on instructions, submitted that upon receipt of the complaint, the fourth respondent registered an FIR in Crime No. 217 of 2017. Thereafter, as ordered by the first respondent, the entire investigation was transferred to the second respondent. Subsequently, the second respondent returned the case file along with a letter addressed to the first respondent; however, the first respondent received only the communication without the case bundle. As soon as the case bundle is received, it will be entrusted to the fourth respondent to complete the investigation.
3.In view of the above, this Court directs the fourth respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the entire case diary from the first respondent.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 03-06-2026 SMA To
