ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 17.06.2025 wherein the petitioner has sought for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.

2. Heard Mr.V.Gunasekar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.S.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondent.

3. The case of the petitioner is that she is the absolute owner of the subject property by virtue of a sale deed dated 24.10.2024 registered as document No.6768 of 2024. The petitioner wanted to develop the property and hence, submitted an online application on 17.06.2025 to survey the property and to lay boundary stones by paying necessary charges. Since no effective steps were taken to survey the property based on some objections made by adjacent land owners, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for appropriate directions.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the 2/4

case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondent to act upon the petitioner's online application dated 17.06.2025 and conduct survey in the subject property based on the title document that stands in the name of the petitioner. If there are any other interested parties, such survey shall be conducted in their presence. The said process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
