PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to provide lifts and air conditioner facility at the new Court Complex at Alandur at the earliest in the light of the circumstances. For Petitioner:

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. This petition has been filed seeking issuance of a direction on the judicial side to the respondents for taking appropriate measures for providing the services, as prayed for in the writ petition.
3. The aspect with regard to providing various facilities sought
in the writ petition is a matter for consideration of the respondents on the administrative side. We are not inclined to continue this matter, at this stage, on judicial side.
The writ petition is, accordingly, closed. No costs. However, the respondents shall take note of the issues which have been raised through this petition and consider the same on the administrative side.
