O R D E R
The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 15.04.2025 for the alleged offence under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 450, 1/4
427, 302 r/w 149, r/w 109, 506(ii) of IPC, 1860 in PRC.No.66 of 2024 on the file of XV Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town, Chennai, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that due to the non-appearance of the petitioner before the Trial Court on 23.01.2025, a Non-Bailable Warrant was issued against him on the same day, and the same was executed on 15.04.2025. Hence, the case.
3. Though the earlier petition filed by the petitioner was dismissed by this Court on 17.09.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.25519 of 2025 on the ground that the committal proceedings were continuously stalled due to the non-cooperation of the petitioner, it is now stated that the committal proceedings have not yet been concluded, as the case is still at the P.R.C. stage. Hence, I am not inclined to reconsider the same.
4. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 03.11.2025 Vv To 2/4
