ORDER
This writ petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking to direct the 1st respondent to conduct enquiry based on the petitioner's complaint dated 22.08.2025 in accordance with law.
2. Mr.R.Vinothraja, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this writ petition (criminal) is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. Since no adverse order is passed against the 2nd and 3rd respondents, notice to the 2nd and 3rd respondents is dispensed with.
4. The case of the petitioner is that he married the 2nd respondent in the year 2017 and through their wedlock, they were blessed with two daughters. While so, the 2nd respondent had developed an illicit relationship with the 3rd respondent and she also misappropriated a sum of Rs.1,80,000/- 2/6
from the petitioner and gave the same to the 3rd respondent. When the same was questioned by the petitioner, the 2nd respondent had threatened the petitioner stating that she would commit suicide and the 2nd respondent by colluding with the 3rd respondent, assaulted the petitioner and threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the petitioner had submitted a detailed complaint before the 1st respondent in this regard on 22.08.2025. However, till date, no action has been taken by the 1st respondent on the said complaint made by the petitioner. Hence, the present writ petition (criminal) has been filed before this Court seeking an appropriate direction.

Though very many grounds have been raised, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 22.08.2025 and to consequently, take appropriate action against the 2nd and 3rd respondents, as expeditiously as possible.
6. Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the petitioner had earlier made a similar 3/6
complaint before the All Women Police Station, Gobichettipalayam, against his wife/the 2nd respondent herein and the 3rd respondent herein, whom he claims to be the illegal partner of the 2nd respondent and an enquiry was conducted in CSR.No.446 of 2024 and the same has been closed. He further submitted that the 1st respondent is conducting an enquiry based on the present complaint dated 22.08.2025 given by the petitioner and though the petitioner was directed to appear for enquiry, he failed to do so. However, he fairly submitted that the petitioner's complaint dated 22.08.2025 will be disposed of within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 1st respondent to conduct enquiry based on the petitioner's complaint dated 22.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. With the above directions, this writ petition (criminal) stands disposed of. No costs.
