ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2025 based on payment receipt No. 2025/0123/10/006693 dated 08.10.2025

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner owns a property situated at Nambiyur Village & Taluk, Erode District in survey No.41/4 patta No.3014. In order to survey the said land, the petitioner submitted an application before the respondents and also paid requisite fees for the same. So far the respondents did not take any step to survey and demarcate the aforementioned land belongs to the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition.

In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to survey the petitioner's aforesaid land based on the title deed produced by him, after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any, and to serve the survey report to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that, if the surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject land, the said surveyor can approach the jurisdictional police seeking police aid and on such request, the jurisdictional police shall provide adequate police protection to the surveyor.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
