ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 30.05.2023 wherein the petitioner is seeking for transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner and other legal heirs with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.M.Muthuraja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen from the records that the application submitted by the petitioner, has already been forwarded by the Revenue Divisional Officer to the file of the respondent through communication dated 25.07.2024. Hence, the respondent has to necessarily act upon the said application and pass appropriate orders based on the representation made by the petitioner on 30.05.2023, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/ 4

4. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
