ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) Notice impugned dated 08.10.2025 issued by Deputy General Manager, Land Department, Neyveli is under challenge in present writ proceedings.

2. Petitioner, instead of submitting explanation along with documents, if any, has chosen to file writ petition, mainly on the ground that petitioner is not an encroacher. Authorities competent are bound to look into documents, take a decision and ascertain whether petitioner is an encroacher or not. Thereafter, all appropriate actions are to be initiated for removal of encroachments.

Thus, petitioner is at liberty to submit her representations/explanations, along with the documents, if any, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, respondents shall consider the same and take a final decision. If any encroachments are identified, respondents are directed to remove the encroachments.
