Today, the matter is listed under the caption 'for clarification' at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. This petition in Crl.M.P.No.20401 of 2025 has been filed by the petitioner seeking to extend the time to furnish sureties in the strength of order dated 25.09.2025 passed in Crl.M.p.no.17991 of 2025 in Crl.O.P.No.16165 of 2025.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court, by order dt. 04.11.2025, in Crl.M.P.No.20401 of 2025, extended time for a period of one week to comply with the conditions imposed by this vide order dated 25.09.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.17991 of 2025 in Crl.O.P.No.16165 of 2025 subject to the payment of cost of Rs.2,000/- to the Taluk Legal Services committee, Kancheepuram from the date on which the order copy is made ready.
4. He further submitted that since there are refused to receive the costs, the petitioner is not able to pay the costs imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed this court for a suitable direction.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner shall pay a costs of Rs.2000/- to the credit of Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, High Court, Chennai from the date on which, the order copy is made ready, as per the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.17991 of 2025 in Crl.O.P.No.16165 of 2025.
