ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to mutate the name of the petitioner in the revenue records based on the assignment granted in favour of the petitioner by the 2nd respondent through proceedings dated 01.02.2008 with respect to the subject property.

2.Heard Mr.R.Nalliyappan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3/5 3.When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader produced the instructions received from the Tahsilar, Salem. It is seen from the said representation that the revenue is already in the process of issuance of patta and therefore, they have sought for some time. 4.In the light of the above development, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 08.07.2025 and do the needful, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
