PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2 nd respondent to consider the petitioner representation letter dated 06.08.2025 addressed to the 1 st respondent and to produce the details of the acquisition proceedings and give to the compensation for the acquired land in the Petitioner / Principle land in Survey No.417 /2 at Perungalathur Village.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the 2 nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2025 and to produce the details of the acquisition proceedings and give the compensation for the acquired land in the Petitioner / Principle land in Survey No.417 /2 at Perungalathur Village.

2.The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the representation of the petitioner dated 06.08.2025 has not been considered by the respondents, so far.

3.Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2 nd respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 06.08.2025 will be considered within a period of four weeks.

4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 1 st respondent and the learned Standing counsel appearing for the 2 nd respondent.

5.This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the 2 nd respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondents, to consider the

representation of the petitioner dated 06.08.2025 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be carried out by the respondents within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
